Temporary Contraindications:
Wounds, Cuts, or Inflammatory Nodules: If you have any skin wounds, cuts, or inflammatory nodules, it’s advisable to postpone face fitness exercises until your skin fully heals.
Viral and Acute ENT Disorders: If you’re experiencing viral or acute ear, nose, or throat disorders, consider avoiding face exercises until you recover.
Implants, Fillers, Lift Threads, Botulinum Toxin-Based Treatments, or any other injections: Wait at least 3 months after procedures such as implants, fillers, or botulinum toxin (Botox) treatments before starting face exercises. If you experience extreme discomfort, stop the exercise and consult your physician. Exercise may also affect the longevity of injections and fillers.
Craniofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery: Only engage in face exercises with your doctor’s approval after craniofacial or plastic surgery.

Additional Contraindications & Precautions for Neck / Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) Work
If the program includes exercises, massage, stretching, or other techniques involving the neck or SCM (sternocleidomastoid), please take additional care. Do not perform these techniques, or consult your healthcare provider first, if you have:
Known carotid artery or other significant vascular disease affecting the neck
History of stroke or TIA
Thrombosis or blood clots
Cervical spine instability, significant neck injury, or recent neck surgery
Unexplained dizziness, fainting, severe headaches, visual disturbances, numbness, weakness, or other neurological symptoms
Unexplained swelling or a pulsating lump in the neck
Any condition for which your healthcare provider has advised you to avoid neck massage, stretching, manipulation, or exercise
Important Safety Note: The neck contains major blood vessels, nerves, and other sensitive structures. Never apply strong or sustained pressure to the front or side of the neck, throat, or directly over an area where you feel a strong pulse. All neck and SCM techniques should be performed gently and without pain. Stop immediately if you experience dizziness, light-headedness, nausea, visual changes, unusual headache, numbness, weakness, pain, or any other unexpected symptoms.
