Temporary contraindications

  • Wounds, cuts, or inflammatory nodules: Postpone facial exercises until the skin has fully healed.
  • Viral or acute ENT disorders: Avoid facial exercises until full recovery.
  • Implants, fillers, lift threads, botulinum toxin–based treatments, or other injections: Wait at least 3 months after such procedures before starting facial exercises. Exercises may influence the longevity of injections and fillers. If you experience discomfort, stop the exercise and consult your physician.
  • Craniofacial or plastic surgery: Facial exercises should only be performed with your doctor’s approval.

  • Acute facial nerve disorders or neuropathy
  • Impaired brain circulation
  • Grade 3 hypertension
